Teeth Tomorrow FAQs
At Cosmetic Dentistry Institute in Troy, MI, we are committed to patient education. Patients who need to replace a full arch of missing teeth often have several questions about Teeth Tomorrow®, such as how long it lasts and what makes it such an innovative solution. Dr. Craig Goldin is happy to meet with you to discuss its benefits, your candidacy, and other restorative options which are available to you.
What makes Teeth Tomorrow different?
The Teeth Tomorrow system allows patients to undergo implant surgery and receive a fully functional bridge in just two days. The advanced method relies on five or six implant posts, which are strategically placed to maximize available bone tissue. This means many patients who would require bone grafting for traditional implant-supported restorations can skip this preparatory procedure.
Prettau Zirconia is a very durable material that resists cracks, chips, and staining, unlike other restoration materials, such as acrylic and porcelain. After five years, a study found the restorations boasted a 99.56% success rate.
Like other types of fixed implant-retained bridges, Teeth Tomorrow will never shift or move out of place. The bridge can even be cared for just like your natural teeth. Traditional dentures, on the other hand, are held in place with suction and adhesives. This not only makes them more difficult to clean but can lead to embarrassing slippage when you speak or eat.
What is Teeth Tomorrow made of?
Teeth Tomorrow is precisely sculpted from one piece of Prettau® Zirconia. This non-porous ceramic material is superior to other restorative materials because it resists stains, odors, and plaque buildup. It provides an unmatched level of durability and also has a shade and shimmer that closely mimics natural enamel.
Additionally, because it is seamlessly crafted, Prettau zirconia bridges are less likely to chip or crack in contrast to traditional restorations that are made from two or more materials. In all, zirconia is a superior material for making restorations compared to other, more fragile material types, such as acrylic and porcelain.
How long will Teeth Tomorrow last?
Since the restorations are made of a highly durable and reliable material, Teeth Tomorrow can last a lifetime. In a study detailed in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 2,039 Teeth Tomorrow bridges were evaluated and only nine had to be replaced after five years. That is a 99.56% success rate. Of course, it is important to attend regular exams at our office so we can ensure the integrity of your restoration.
Is there a risk of rejection?
While zirconia has been used in more recent years in dentistry, the material has long been used for medical devices, such as joint replacement. Given this history of successful biocompatibility, Prettau Zirconia has a very low risk of allergy and potential rejection.
Will I be sedated during my procedure?
In addition to receiving a local anesthetic, many Teeth Tomorrow patients choose to receive nitrous oxide or an oral sedative. Patients with dental anxiety or those who are undergoing more extensive treatment may receive IV (intravenous) sedation, which Dr. Goldin is certified to safely administer.
What will my treatment cost cover?
Teeth Tomorrow costs are all-inclusive and include:
- All x-rays and dental imaging scans
- All surgical costs including extractions, bone modification, and grafting, as needed
- Sedation procedures
- All dental implants, implant components, and parts
- A provisional (temporary) bridge or denture
- A final Prettau Zirconia Implant Bridge

How can Teeth Tomorrow improve my quality of life?
Teeth Tomorrow can improve your quality of life in a number of ways. Having good oral health and fully restored dental function means you can eat the foods you love without pain or discomfort. Implant-supported restorations stimulate the jaw, preventing the bone loss that occurs after teeth are lost or extracted. For this reason, Teeth Tomorrow can not only safeguard your bone health but also maintain a more youthful appearance. Finally, Teeth Tomorrow restores complete confidence in your smile, making you more likely to share it with others.
