This patient was embarrassed with her smile. As a child, she was given medicines that permanently darkened her teeth. Previous dentistry to mask the problem was not adequate and was unaesthetic. She had a very deep overbite and crowded and worn teeth. Her lower lip covered the bottom of her upper front teeth. She was uncomfortable with the “gummy” appearance of her smile. Using a minor tooth lengthening surgical procedure, porcelain crowns and veneers, her smile and bite was restored. She loves showing off her new smile and her better bite!
